Shipping Methods

providing you with a delightful shopping experience. Please review our shipping
policy below for detailed information on shipping methods, delivery times, charges,
and other important details.


Shipping Carriers: At Kent Books, we utilize primarily Royal Mail and FedEx for
both domestic and international shipments. Additionally, we may utilize services from
Parcel2Go to offer you a range of shipping options


Shipping Options and Delivery Times:

  • For orders within the UK weighing up to 2kg, a flat shipping rate of £1.99 is applicable. Heavier packages or international orders will be charged based on weight and destination.

  • Domestic orders typically have a delivery time of 3-5 business days from the date of shipment.

  • International shipping times vary depending on the destination and can range from 5 days to 21 days.
     

International Shipping: We take pride in offering worldwide shipping to bring our
diverse collection of titles to readers across the globe. Please note that delivery
times for international orders can be longer due to customs and other factors beyond
our control.

Order Processing Time: Once you place an order, our team at Kent Books will
process it within 1-3 business days before shipment. During peak seasons or
holidays, processing times may vary slightly. If there is a delay in our processing
times due to unexpected circumstances you will be informed by email and have the
opportunity to cancel your order.

Delivery Times:

  • UK: 2-5 business days from the date of shipment.

  • Overseas: Delivery times vary depending on the destination but can be 5 days or more from the date of shipment.

  • Please note that once a parcel is in the possession of the couriers Kent Books have no control over the couriers delivery processes. If required, Kent Books will endeavour to contact the Courier for updates on any delays in parcel delivery.
     

Exclusions: While we strive to serve customers worldwide, there might be certain
regions or countries where delivery is not currently available. Unfortunately, we do
not ship to Germany and Russia at the moment.

Out of Stock Items: We make every effort to maintain accurate stock levels on our
website. In the rare event that an item you ordered is out of stock, we will promptly
notify you, and you will have the option to wait for the restock or receive a full refund.
Tracking Information: For your peace of mind, all our shipments come with tracking
information. Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with the tracking details
so you can follow your package's journey until it reaches your doorstep.

Lost or Damaged Packages: In the unfortunate event that a package is lost, we will
process refunds in accordance with the waiting times of the delivery company. Once
you have contacted us to confirm that the item is lost, we will initiate the refund
process. For damaged items, refunds will be issued once photographs of the
damaged item are sent to us for confirmation of the item's condition. We may or may
not request the return of the item at our expense.

No Click and Collect: Currently, we do not offer a click-and-collect option. All orders
are shipped directly to the address provided during checkout.

Order Cancellation and Returns: Orders can be cancelled within 14 days from the
date ordered. To initiate a return, the buyer must email their intention to return within
the 14-day policy. The item must be returned within 14 days of their intent to return.
Refunds will be issued once the item is received back and is in the same condition
as when it was sent. Please note that no refunds will be given for return requests or
items returned after 28 days from the date of purchase. Return postage is to be paid
by the buyer, except when returning a damaged item.

Restrictions and charges There are no restrictions on the types of books we offer.
However, please note that postage costs for large orders are only estimates and may
incur extra charges to the buyer or a refund of postal overages by Kent Books. Any
additional fees or taxes, such as customs, import, or others, are the responsibility of
the buyer in accordance with their country's policies.

Refusal and Delivery Failure: Refusal of an item will not be refunded. In cases of
delivery failure due to an incorrect address being given by the buyer, or the failure of
the buyer to collect an item from their delivery office, we will refund the cost of the
item only and not the postal costs.

No Gift Wrapping Offered: As part of our commitment to sustainability, Kent Books
tries to use as much recycled material as possible. Therefore, we do not offer gift
wrapping services.
