Guard Our unbelief: Passages for Discussion by J J Evans.

This book is an anthology of passages for discussion of religious belief. They are taken from novelists and dramatists of international reputation, who deal profoundly with problems of good and evil, belief and unbelief, and of the human personality in the modern world. The editors aim has been not to guide his readers along any particular line of belief but rather to develop a quality of imagination profound enough to make an adequate response to the problem of belief wherever they arise.

Wroters represented include Huxley, Koestler, E M Forster, Camus, Beckett, Ionesco, John Whiting and Charles Williams.
